Senior UX Designer
Overview
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our team and play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional user experiences that have an impact on engagement, retention, and conversion. This position involves close collaboration with developers, product owners, and clients, requiring both a deep understanding of design principles and the ability to lead projects from concept to delivery. This role is based out of our Minneapolis office, which is currently hybrid.

Project Communication
Senior designers work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation. They ensure alignment with technical constraints and product goals. They see themselves as key stakeholders and help ensure project success by supporting team collaboration through clear and effective communication channels.

Every contributor is responsible for ensuring their tasks and features are completed to a high standard and are genuinely ready for the next phase. Our senior designers have a strong understanding of what they need to deliver that aligns with product goals, user needs, and industry best practices. They are able to demonstrate a strong grasp of information architecture and ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience by applying user-centered design principles from start to finish. They complete their work within assigned hours and timeframe and work closely with QA analysts, providing them with necessary resources for validation, and adhere to standards for documentation and implementation.

Senior designers pay close attention to project financials and are acutely aware of when a project is ‘off track’. They define the success of a project by its ability to stay within budget.

Technical Qualifications
- Proficiency in designing UX on projects from start to launch, including design quality assurance
- Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma and Adobe CC
- Experience creating development-ready user interfaces
- Experience in the creation and scalability of design systems and libraries
- Solid understanding of front-end development processes and technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with Webflow
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a client-facing demeanor.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
